Our MIssIon

VegMichigan is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization focused on promoting the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of a plant-based diet by offering a wide range of activities for learning and socializing.

Who we are

The largest vegan nonprofit organization in the state, VegMichigan is an inclusive organization that welcomes all, no matter where they are on their journeys, to our events – from omnivores to longtime vegans.

VegMichigan believes everyone should have access to opportunities that will teach them how to improve their health, eat in alignment with their values, and lessen their environmental impact. Our educational programs provide communities around the state with the knowledge, resources, and support necessary for those new to eating plant-based, as well as those looking to increase their advocacy efforts.
