Our Circus School offers training for children and adults in traditional circus arts including aerial silks, trapeze, aerial ring, partner acrobatics, fire performance, and more. Circus classes teach foundational circus artistry while building life-enhancing skills such as confidence, responsibility, poise, teamwork, and discipline. Detroit Flyhouse Circus School students improve coordination, balance, strength, conditioning, and overall fitness in a non-competitive, supportive, fun, and positive environment.

All Flyhouse teachers are accomplished circus artists and have completed rigorous teacher training programs. Our teacher programs emphasize safety, technique, and creativity. This training coupled with the diverse backgrounds of our teachers in myriad disciplines guarantees our students leave the Detroit Flyhouse with a wealth of knowledge pertinent to many circus applications.

Several times per year, Detroit Flyhouse Circus School students can choose to take their show "on the road" by performing in the school's Student Circus Showcase at an area theatre. With the support of teachers, sparkling costumes, dazzling feats, vibrant music, and a packed house, the Student Showcase provides students an unrivaled experience as well as an exciting goal to work toward throughout the year.
