M1DTW Architects

M1DTW Architects is a design-driven multidisciplinary architecture studio that produces thoughtful environments for people to do their best work.

Clients range from emerging retail and lifestyle entrepreneurs to well-established educational and cultural institutions. Since its founding in 2000, the studio has completed over one-hundred commissioned works. Select clients include Floyd, Bloomscape, Mills Pharmacy, 6 Salon, The Platform, Cranbrook Art Museum, & Samsung.

M1DTW has received numerous awards for its work including Honor Awards from AIA Michigan, AIA Detroit, Design Core, a NAHA for Best Salon Design in North America, and a ‘50 Books’ award from the AIGA for one of the best designed books of the year.

M1DTW is located in Eastern Market, Detroit, within a renovated former meatpacking building, just east of the Dequindre Cut Greenway. The building includes Anthology Coffee and Floyd.
